Our Roasts

House — The individual roast level we feel brings out the best qualities in each coffee.

American (Light) — Light in color and the commonly preferred roast in the northeastern US. This roast results in a medium-bodied, acidic cup of coffee that lets the fruity and spicy nuances of a particular bean shine through.

City (Medium-light) — Slightly darker than the American roast and produces a more full-bodied and aromatic cup.

Full City (Medium) — Produces a full-bodied coffee that retains the sweet flavor notes of the bean and creates a slightly less acidic cup than a City roast.

Viennese (Medium-Dark) — The most commonly preferred and well-rounded roast (in our opinion). It produces a very full-bodied cup that retains a slight sweetness of flavor with just a hint of bitter tones beginning to come through.

Dark (Espresso) — The dark roast first became popular in Europe and has since spread to the rest of the world. This roasting style produces a full-bodied coffee that has low acidity and a strong bittersweet flavor.

French — Produces a full-bodied coffee that has low acidity and a dominating bittersweet flavor.
